Part P registration notice
It should be noted that a Part P domestic installer
does not have to be a qualified electrician and indeed in many cases they are not. There are unfortunately people advertising themselves as
qualified electricians when they have no formal training or qualifications. Having passed the 2382
17th edition regs exam and a part P assesment
does not qualify a person as an electrician.
I can only offer the advise you that if you want an electrician ask to see their qualifications.
